Khalil Lee-Butler | Head Coach

The son of Yi Sport founder Coach Lionel Lee, Coach Khalil is a multiple-time Washington State champion as well as a Junior Olympics champion and medalist; he represented the United States at the International Taekwondo Festival in Korea in 2015; he has consistently been one of the top four fighters in his weight division in the country, qualifying for the USAT National Team Trials multiple times.

Chris Xie | Assistant Coach

Why do Taekwondo? “It’s tons of fun!” Coach Chris answers. “You’ll meet fantastic people, make friends for life, and learn about the qualities of hard work and discipline that you need to be confident and successful. It’s never too late to learn those qualities.”

“I see my role as helping individuals build confidence and believe in themselves,” says Coach Chris. “I want to be part of their journey and help shape them into fine young human beings!”

Patricia Louie | Fitness Coach

Trish has been with YST for twelve years, both as a student and a coach. She a first degree black belt and have been competing since age of thirteen. She is a multiple-time state champion in Junior and Senior division and was a first runner up for the Junior Olympic team to represent the US in the World Championships. 

"These lessons that I’ve obtained at Yi Sport carries over into my personal life, as it has pushed me to finish school and continues to push me in becoming the person that I want to be."
